Clubs

Dhwani club was formulated with the objectives of inculcating passion for the Malayalam language and literature among students since the beginning of the academic year. Competitions were held and students who displayed their talent were honoured during the day. Under the initiative of the club, students with literary skills are identified and they are provided opportunities to participate in inter- school literary competitions. Effective involvement of the Malayalam department plays an important role in the smooth functioning of the club.

Sunhara club was formulated with the objectives of inculcating passion for the National language Hindi among students. The purpose of the Sunhara club is to enhance the creativity of our students. The Club allows students to create their own speeches, compose poetry and also write essays to express their thoughts and feelings. The Club also conducts activities like debates and extempore to develop thinking and analysing skills in our students.

Science club taps the analytical and scientific aptitude of students and brings out the research abilities in them. Science club also aims to make the students think critically about the natural world and their role in it. It combines in-class curriculum and outdoor training and helps students to learn more about aquatic ecology, forestry, soil & land use, wildlife, and current environmental issues.

It enhances the numerical and problem solving skills of students and sharpen their brains to the fullest. The club aims to promote maths beyond the classroom and allow pupils to see maths as an integral part of their lives.

Eco & Health Club makes the students aware of the present scenario and dire need to act to maintain our planet alive. It also aims to prepare children identify and avert the health and wellness hazards of our times and lead a healthy life.

Social & Heritage club emphasizes on assisting the community and charity work. It also makes the children aware and proud of our great cultural heritage and try to promote and protect it. Street Play is an integral part of the Social & Heritage club where students are not only being made aware of important social issues but they are encouraged to take on the responsibility of spreading its awareness.

The aim of debuggers club is to create awareness on the current trends in computers. Variety programmes are conducted to improve analytical & logical skills. It also introduces new technologies to club members and bring out their creative talents. It makes and prepares students aware of the uses of information technology and thus prepare them to handle information enabled devices in the future. In addition to that this club allows students to learn about and enjoy photography. Students were given opportunity to improve their photographic skills through different club programs. The debuggers encourages and promotes digital albums which leads the students to get aware of the need to save papers.

Blooms club mainly focuses on the activities for the overall development of KG students. The activities like dancing, painting, memory test, nature exploration, craft work etc. will help the students to develop their personality, hand and eye coordination, communicative skills etc.

The concept of Igniters Club is meant for the students of classes 1& 2 and it is an opportunity for adaptation to life in the group, forming good life long habits and cultivating a voluntaristic spirit. Its activities supplement academics and give the students practical training which they require in day to day life. The school provides a complete platform for various club activities which are organized to display their talent.

Media Club was established in 2021. It has been one of the most popular clubs among TGM students as well as Faculty. The basic objectives of the club are to develop professional skills in different fields of Digital marketing, video production, VFX editing, to create a platform for students to enhance their extracurricular activities, Enhance their passion (in photography, film making & market surveyor, team leader, etc.) and to provide support to the students passionate about different forms of marketing and various video production etc.

The club emphasis on enhancing the connectivity between school activities and students, advertising and promoting various school events through digital marketing, motivating students to pursue journalism as their career,building leadership quality by arranging among students,developing creativity among students.

Vimukthi Club is organised for augmenting and strengthening the existing awareness programme against drugs and alcohol among students.In order to curb the menace of drug abusing, TGM has conducted many awareness programmes like road shows, street plays, anti- drug skits,anti-drug pledge etc.It helps the students to get awareness on the bad effects of alcohol and drug abusing and to monitor activities effectively for the coming generation.

The vision is to nurture and develop young ambassadors of Indian tourism who would become aware of tourism possibilities in India, appreciate our rich cultural heritage and develop an interest and passion for tourism. These young ambassadors would be catalysts for promoting tourism in India.

The forest club is a complete platform for the students to mould themselves to be eco-friendly. It provides the students a forum to connect with the nature and evolve as responsible stewards of nature.As part of forest club, TGM conducts plantation drive every year aiming at combating environmental issues.It helps the students to fulfill the responsibility towards mother earth and to protect the environment.
