The core curriculum in our primary and middle school includes the best of the board, thus giving a competitive edge to our young learners and the leaders of tomorrow. In TGM, the learning objectives of the CBSE board are successfully combined with our philosophy of focusing on our students and their learning needs. The uniqueness of our course lies in its flexibility to upgrade with changes in the field of education.
CBSE has regularly instituted reforms in examinations and evaluation practices – the most recent being the graded system of evaluation. As per Board guidelines, the prime focus of our curriculum is to innovate teaching-learning methodologies by developing paradigms that are conducive for students. At the primary and secondary level, students are encouraged to explore the relationship between practical and theoretical concepts of various subjects. Thus, our students learn to analyse how the topic extends beyond the classroom and into the outside world.
Interdisciplinary approach dissolves boundaries of subjects and encourages learning across the curriculum. We have developed a plan where the theme encompasses all curricular areas. This way, subjects like Mathematics, English, Malayalam, Hindi, IT, Social Science and Science are integrated and taught together focusing on a specific issue. Here, we have eliminated the age-old concept of teaching subjects in isolation. This cultivates higher-order thinking abilities, encouraging our young geniuses to focus on their critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

For the Secondary classes i.e. Grades 9 & 10, the school offers CBSE recommended school books and study materials for our students. Our students can avail supplementary books and sample question papers for greater success in examinations conducted by the Board. The activity-based flexible curriculum and the various teaching aids used by our school facilitate a wholesome learning experience for our young geniuses.
Vocational course (Information Technology - 402) and Value Education program (Awakened Citizen Program) are incorporated with curriculum.
Vocational course (Information Technology - 402)
Computer Science as a subject has been provided from Class 1 onwards. Information Technology has been provided as vocational course from class 6 onwards. Information Technology (IT- 402) as Vocational course at secondary level in class IX (Level-1) and class X (level-2). In the present day of globalized competition, Information Technology plays a significant role.
Information Technology (IT) has created a revolution in every field and enabled students towards progressive learning. To enable students towards progressive learning CBSE equip the students with specialized vocational training.
Value Added Program
Values such as harmony, peace, compassion and humility have been a part of the discourse of every society of the world for centuries and their need and importance is universally accepted and felt. This 'Value Added' Education programme is provided for students of class 1 to class 8. The Awakened Citizen Programme’ acknowledges the potential of young learners and empowers them to harness their infinite strength and goodness and provides them a path to develop into enlighten citizens. It offers a wide variety and enables them to explore and develop universal values. This Comprehensive Values Education Programme reiterates our traditional values and emphasizes on universal values simultaneously. Vision is to enable the development of Awakened future citizens by allowing them to discover a Value System for themselves.
